Several affiliate review sites currently answer this with a flat no, describing IceMax and IceBomb as “two different U.S.-focused cooling vape brands” with “separate manufacturers”. That claim does not survive contact with the packaging.

Fifteen of them are identical, down to the naming — Jasmine Milk Tea, Longjing Ice Tea, Peach Oolong, Lychee Ice, Coconut Water, Miami Mint, Watermelon Ice, Strawberry Ice, Banana Freeze, Kiwi Blast, Lemon Pineapple, Fresh Lemon, Green Grape Ice, Sour Guava Ice, Passion Grapefruit. The one difference: ICEMAX carried Iced Pocari, IceBomb carries Green Apple Ice.

A flavour matrix that specific is not a coincidence between unrelated manufacturers. It is a generational replacement.

The flavour problem nobody explains

Here is the part that catches people out. The ICEMAX line’s identity is not menthol — it is tea and Asian beverage flavours. Jasmine milk tea, Longjing green tea, peach oolong, lychee, and a sports-drink profile called Iced Pocari made up a large share of the original menu. That is unusual in the U.S. disposable market, where the shelf is dominated by candy, fruit-ice and energy-drink profiles, and it is why the line built a following.

Those are also the flavours that go out of stock first. At the time of writing, the IceBomb 18000’s four tea flavours — Jasmine Milk Tea, Longjing Ice Tea, Peach Oolong Ice Tea and Lychee Ice — are all on back-order at U.S. retail, while the fruit and mint profiles are widely available. A buyer coming from ICEMAX for the tea is therefore likely to find the disposable can’t help them, even though it is the “official” successor.

The pods can. Read the columns rather than the rows and the pattern is obvious: ten of the sixteen ICEMAX flavours are currently answered only by the pods. The disposable covers the mint-and-fruit half of the menu; the pods cover the tea half, and do it at the original 3%.

Which one should you actually buy?

Buy the ICEBOOM pods if…

You came to ICEMAX for the tea flavours, or you want to stay at 3% nicotine. This is the closest thing to the original experience: same brand family, same strength, and a deeper tea menu than the disposable ever carried.
